On 18th October. EuroCham’s Supply Chain Committee organised a site visit to SATS Ltd.’s E-Commerce Air Hub and Coolport, followed by a vibrant roundtable discussion.
We extend our sincere thanks to Patrick Kwok Kian Min and his team at SATS for hosting and providing an insightful tour of the facilities. During the visit, Patrick highlighted SATS’s global expansion, particularly through the acquisition of Worldwide Freight Services (WFS), which now extends their presence to 23 countries. He also shared insights into their twin-engine strategy, aimed at driving growth both in Singapore and international markets via Gateway Services Asia-Pacific and the Singapore Hub.
The tour also showcased SATS’s cutting-edge innovations, including their advanced cargo management system and AI-powered air cargo solution, which is currently in the proof-of-concept phase.
Sustainability remains at the core of SATS’s operations, with initiatives focused on reducing carbon emissions, increasing energy efficiency, and advancing circular economy practices. Notable efforts include transitioning to electric vehicles, installing solar power systems, and setting ambitious sustainability goals such as achieving carbon neutrality by 2040. SATS is also committed to reducing food and packaging waste by 50% by 2030 and transitioning to 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success!
