Mr. Guersent heads the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA). It is one of the Directorates-General and specialised services that make up the European Commission.
DG FISMA is responsible for initiating and implementing policy in the area of Banking and Finance.
