On Tuesday 28th October, EuroCham is pleased to present you with a Breakfast Talk on the key challenges confronting the economic environment for 2015. We are delighted to host Mr. David Carbon, Managing Director for Economic and Currency Research at DBS Bank who will present his latest insights on
“Global Growth: is it ever going to change?”
With the EU and the US economies staggering to regain their footing, economists are turning their attention to the rising economies of Asia. Mr Carbon will offer his perspective of what is driving the growth engines from a global angle and how Asia’s key economies are both impacted as well as contributing in near term outlook.
EuroCham’s Economic Outlook 2015 will offer opportunities to better understand the mechanisms of the world economy in 2015 and what this then means for business.
About the Speaker
David Carbon is Managing Director for Economic and Currency Research at DBS Bank in Singapore. He joined DBS in 2005 with 20 years’ of experience covering the economies & markets of Asia and the G10 from Singapore, Hongkong and London. In 2012, David was voted the Best Economist in Southeast Asia in an investor poll conducted by Alpha Southeast Asia.
Moderator: Mr Andrew Naylor, Vice-Chairman EuroCham Financial Services Committee
Mr. Naylor leads Cicero’s Asia Pacific office in Singapore, working on a number of international and high-profile communications and research projects. He is Vice President of the LSE Alumni Association of Singapore, sits on EuroCham’s board , and is Vice Chairman of EuroCham’s Financial Services Group.
