2017’s headlines read of financial crisis, natural disasters and man-made incidents. 2018 may not be very different. During such turbulent times, planning ahead has never been more important. Yet the plans are not fool-proof as we have seen from many examples. Since September 11, 2011, the aggregate attacks on hotels have increased four-folds. Straddling between hospitality and safety of the guests, associates and assets, there rises a greater need to put in place defense mechanisms within the hotel environments.
