DESCRIPTION:The EuroCham HR Committee will host Mr. Sunil Puri\, Head of Research at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) to present on Asian leadership and the changing role of HR\nMr. Sunil Puri is the Asia-Pacific director of research and innovation at the Center for Creative Leadership\, one of the world’s top-ranked specialists in leadership development. Their recent CCL study: “The Global Asian Leader: From Local Star to Global CXO” has had a strong impact on how companies in Asia strategise their leadership development. Some critical questions the study addresses include: \n\nWhat are the strengths of Asian leaders in a world-class competitive environment?\nWhy do large organization often struggle to develop a diverse leadership pipeline?\nWhat gaps and cultural characteristics should HR work on to develop Asian leaders?\nWhat are the best multinational companies doing to develop and retain Asian leadership talent?\n\n  \nJoin us for an engaging sharing session with Mr. Sunil Puri on the 16th of March. EuroCham has had the pleasure of dialoging with Sunil in the past when he led research for the Singapore based Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI). Now his scope includes all of Asia Pacific\, and for this meeting Sunil will make the trip especially to meet EuroCham HR leaders\, present the study and dialogue with participants. \nAbout the speaker: \nMr. Sunil Puri \nAPAC Director – Research\, Innovation\, and Product Development (RIPD)\nAPAC \nSunil leads CCL’s Research\, Innovation and Product Development (RIPD) efforts in Asia Pacific where he is responsible for leading research/product development around leadership and leadership development in the region\, and sharing the Center’s point-of-view with key stakeholders. His current research interests include Asian leadership\, global leadership development\, and cross-cultural influences. \nSunil is a seasoned leadership and human capital researcher and thought leader with 19 years of experience across large global organizations. Prior to CCL\, Sunil served as head of Research and Insights at Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI)\, a center of excellence set up by the Singapore government to uplift the level of talent and leadership capabilities in Singapore/ASEAN. At HCLI\, his work involved identifying\, analysing\, documenting and teaching strategic HR and Asian leadership trends and practices. SUMMARY:EuroCham Annual General Meeting 2018
DESCRIPTION: \nPICTURES OF THE EVENT: \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nEuroCham is pleased to inform its members that the Annual General Meeting will be held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore on Thursday\, 22nd March 2018. \nWe cordially invite all Members of the European Chamber of Commerce (Singapore) to attend its Annual General Meeting and therefore confirm their presence.\n \n \n\n1. Reports: \nThe Annual General Meeting will receive from the board an Annual report of activities and the Year 2017 Financial Statements. \nBoth documents to be presented at the AGM will be placed in the EuroCham office at least fourteen days before the AGM\, as of Thursday\, 8th March 2018 (article 7.II(d)). A soft copy of the reports can be sent to you upon request. \n2. Proxy: \nIn the event that you are unable to attend the AGM\, you are entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote on your behalf. Please find the proxy form below that you may return by email to clara.cho@eurocham.org.sg. This will allow the Chamber to reachquorum and proceed with a proper AGM. The duly completed Proxy Form must be send on or before Wednesday\, 21st March 2018 (article 7.V.(b)-(c)). \n \n3. Nominations: \nPlease also note that each NBG is kindly requested to re-confirm or nominate its own Representative. Corporate and NBG members who are interested in standing for election to the EuroCham Board 2018/2019 are invited to complete the Nomination Form and send it to EuroCham’s office on or before Friday\, 9th March 2018 (article 6.II(b)). \nThe newly elected Board will elect among themselves\, immediately after the AGM\, the post of President\, three Vice Presidents\, Secretary and Treasurer (article 6.III(a) to (c)). \n \n \n4. Additional agenda items \nShould you wish to add additional items to the agenda\, you should give notice to the Secretary at least seventeen days before the AGM\, 5th March 2018.
