DESCRIPTION:On the 22nd of April Regional Trade Committee members will be gathering to provide inputs on the ASEAN Market Access Study.Committee members will be meeting to provide their insights and inputs with regards to the\n-Top 3 to 5 Market Access/Trade inhibiter issues \n-Background details of the issues\, the real impact on European businesses.\n-Specific real examples wherever possible of how these reduce/slow down trade or prevent European investments.\nFollowing the Committee Meeting discussion\, EuroCham’s team will gather together the inputs provided by Committee members.\nThe Study is the EU-ASEAN Business Council‘s main publication for the year bringing together insights from European Chamber’s in ASEAN\, among others\, and will be distributed to relevant Ministries and Senior Government officials during the 4th ASEAN-EU Business Summit in Kuala Lumpur this August. As the voice of European Businesses in Singapore\, EuroCham will be participating.\nThis meeting is for EuroCham Members only.\nAbout the Regional Trade Committee:\nThe Regional Trade Committee aims to represent the interests of the European business community in promoting trade between Europe on the one hand and Singapore and ASEAN on the other. It covers all matters in relation to trade in goods and services between the EU and ASEAN\, including those matters of intra-ASEAN trade that impact EU businesses. Payroll costs are going up creating talent wars for key positions. Many countries in Asia where investment and operations assumed cheap labor have to shift to higher value added work. The challenge for HR leaders is to develop talent to keep up with the rise in salaries and to continue to organise companies for high productivity growth. What is the reality of human development across Asia today? What are companies doing to develop the quality of talent and deploy talent effectively across Asia?\nWe are delighted to welcome two Top Leaders in this critical area\, an expert and a practitioner to discuss the above issues.\n\nMs Su-Yen Wong is Chairman\, at Marsh & McLennan Companies and Senior Advisor to Mercer and Oliver Wyman.
