DESCRIPTION:As an initiative of the Regional Tax Committee\, EuroCham will host the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) where officials will brief members on the BEPS Action 5 platform and new IP development incentives available to businesses.\nUpdates on Singapore’s participation at the BEPS Action 5 Platform and the new IP Development Incentive \nSynopsis: \nSingapore joined the inclusive framework for the global implementation of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project in June 2016. The sharing by the Singapore Economic Development Board provides updates on Singapore’s participation at the BEPS Action 5 platform for countering harmful tax practices\, and also gives an overview of the new IP Development Incentive\, which was introduced in Budget 2017. \nPlease RSVP by calendar invite or by writing to Mr. Elgin Seah at elgin.seah@eurocham.org.sg.
