SUMMARY:Human Resources Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On the 27th of May 2016\, the Human Resources Committee will be meeting with Ms. Jane Grafton\, Senior Trainer and Coach at Mindfulness\, for a presentation on “Mindfulness at work: what’s going on?“ \nMindfulness was first mentioned by The Harvard Business Review in 2010 as “Mindful Leadership: when East meets West“. Since then\, HBR only published 14 articles on this topic… \nWith over 20 years of practice in the domain of mindfulness and meditation\, Ms. Jane Grafton decided a few years back to bring some elements of her practice in the workplace. For this session\, she will share with members her own path on the mindfulness practice\, her experience introducing it in the workplace\, why companies are increasingly interested to do so\, as well as her views on the difference between meditation and mindfulness. \nThis session will allow members to share concrete examples\, including Ms. Cecile Diversy’s experience (Co-Chair of the HR Committee) on this topic from a personal level and after introduction in the workplace at Fonterra\, offering participants practical views on mindfulness at work. \nThis meeting is for EuroCham Members only. \nShould you be interested in attending\, please contact the Policy & Corporate Affairs Manager\, Mr Yiannis Korkovelos at yiannis.korkovelos@eurocham.org.sg
