SUMMARY:IPR Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On the 12th of January 2015\, the IPR Committee will be meeting. \nThe IPR Committee will hold a special session dedicated to shedding light on the ambiguity that has emerged following the release of the TPP text and Art 18.76 paragraph 5 (c). For this occasion\, Mr Frank Debets\, will be engaging in a discussion with members attempting to offer further clarity on the matter of whether this provision will apply to transshipment or to infringing goods transiting through Singapore. \nMr. Frank Debets is the Managing Partner of PwC’s Asian Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) practice and Chairman of EuroCham’s Regional Trade Committee. \nMembers will also be offered a briefing on the Economist Intelligence Unit project results. \nThis meeting is for EuroCham Members only. \nShould you be interested in attending\, please contact the Committees and Membership Manager\, Mr Yiannis Korkovelos at yiannis.korkovelos@eurocham.org.sg
