SUMMARY:Co-Creating the Workforce of the Future
DESCRIPTION:On the 17th of April 2017\, EuroCham Singapore\, in collaboration with Siemens will organise a Dialogue with Ms. Janina Kugel\, Chief Human Resources Officer & Member of the Managing Board\, Siemens AG. \nThe impact of technology\, fundamental shifts in work and education and the growing importance of Asia are in the news practically every day. But concretely\, how does a global leading company like Siemens manage these changes and how does this change the role of HR? Ms. Janina Kugel is one of the world’s most important HR leaders with responsibility for more than 350\,000 employees. Her role does not stop there but extends to stakeholders such as governments\, education\, and the future of human development. Janina Kugel is known as one of the new generation of HR leaders with a role at Board level and a mission to anticipate the future of Siemens. \nThis event brings together CEOs and HR leaders in Singapore\, as well as educators and national and regional government thought leaders. Its purpose to provide a high-level forum for exchange on strategic issues for companies and for the region. Participants will be welcomed by Mr. Armin Bruck\, CEO and President of Siemens Pte Ltd and get an exclusive of the Siemens vision of the City of the Future. This will be followed by a Panel discussion with Ms. Janina Kugel\, facilitated by the Eurocham HR Committee\, with a “sounding board” of students and young entrepreneurs. The event concludes with the signing of a partnership agreement between Siemens and the Singapore Institute of Technology for internships. The event is followed by a cocktail at the Siemens Centre. \n \nMs. Janina Kugel \nCHRO and Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG \nMs Kugel became a member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG in 2015. Previously\, she was Head of Human Resources People and Leadership\, responsible for the HR function in the Americas\, Middle East and Africa. She studied economics at the University of Mainz\, Germany\, and has a Master of Economics from the Università degli Studi di Verona\, Italy. \nThis event is by invitation only
