DESCRIPTION:BritCham’s Diversity Committee cordially invites all members of the Chamber and their guests to a special networking evening on the 3th June 2015.\nAlan Seah\, a representative from Pink Dot will share with us the ‘what’\, ‘why’ and ‘how’ leading up to the Pink Dot 2015 on June 13th\, and cover the relevance of inclusive work practices for business. \nRegistration will start at 6.30pm for all to network and get together. A free buffet (halal with vegetarian options) will be available. At 7pm\, Alan will share with us all about Pink Dot\, which will be followed by Q&A and more networking. \nFeel free to bring a colleague or a friend and register early as places are limited. The business community plays a vital role in shaping economic development and the transition to a low carbon economy – the only way to secure sustainable economic growth and prosperity. This event will bring together the business community in Singapore to discuss the benefits of low carbon economic growth\, the role that business and NGOs can play and the opportunities available to them\, as well as the challenges they face. \nExchange between Singapore and Europe on climate issues is one of many examples of their intense bilateral cooperation.
