Malaysia rose to the 25th place in Knight-Frank’s Global House Price Index for the second half of 2017\, up from 28th in the previous quarter. Keen to tap into the updates on the property freeze and how it affects buyer’s sentiment in terms of price\, supply and demand? How will the growth in sub-sales market and strata-titled properties influence the Malaysia property sector in 2018? Find out all these at the show. SUMMARY:Myanmar - Energy Infrastructure Development Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:Despite being plagued with difficulties in its transition to democracy\, Myanmar is a country in the region that desperately requires investment in its energy sector to underpin stable economic development. The country has one of the lowest rates of electricity access in South East Asia – only around 30% of its 53 million inhabitants have access to grid electricity – and yet it is an exporter of energy with extensive gas and hydro resources.   \nDrawing from commercial and legal backgrounds\, the panel will cover some of the current obstacles to investment in Myanmar and projects that are nonetheless being developed. Taking account of short and long term risks they will also consider how the opportunities to invest in Myanmar stack up against other opportunities in ASEAN. \nOur Energy and Utilities business group have been collaborating with the Energy Working Group from the British Chamber in Myanmar to bring together this insightful event and we hope you will be able to join us as we look at the energy opportunities in this region in more detail. \nPlease click here to have more information about the speakers.  \nRegistration fees: \nBritCham Members: 50$\nNon-Members: 90$
