Removal of Entry Approval Requirement for EP, S Pass, DP and LTVP holders – MOM (Work Pass Division)

February 22, 2022

From 21 February 2022, 2359 hours, your fully vaccinated Employment Pass, S Pass as well as Dependant’s Pass and Long-term Visit Pass holders do not need to apply for Entry Approval to enter Singapore. They are required to adhere to prevailing entry requirements and border health measures including testing and Stay-Home Notice (SHN) requirements. They must submit a health and travel declaration via the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) before arrival and present their MOM-issued pass or In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter and proof of vaccination status or medical exemption for vaccination for entry to Singapore.

Work permit holders (including those on IPA and migrant domestic workers/confinement nannies) still require an entry approval to ensure they enter Singapore in a safe and calibrated manner given their larger numbers. However, they do not need an entry approval if they also hold a MOM-issued Dependant’s Pass or Long-term Visit Pass.
