Safe Clubbing Campaign 2025: Celebrate Right, Enjoy Responsibly: Learn how the Police work with industry partners to ensure a safe clubbing experience for all

On 26 May 2025, Guest-of-Honour, Mr Goh Pei Ming, Minister of State (MOS), Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development, graced the launch of the Safe Clubbing Campaign (SCC) 2025 at HaveFun LiveShow, Bugis+.

Through successful partnerships between the Police, National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) and industry stakeholders, crime rates at nightspots have shown a notable decline. MOS Goh shared that in the first quarter of 2025, outrage of modesty (OM) cases decreased by over 34% compared to the same period in 2024, while cases of rioting, affray, disorderly behaviour and serious hurt fell by approximately 14%.

Despite these encouraging reductions, such cases remain a concern. In particular, OM offences in and around public entertainment (PE) outlets accounted for 7% of all OM cases island-wide in 2024. This underscores why safeguarding the nightlife scene continues to be a top priority.
